Does B2 Mask get hot and humid?

B2 Mask was designed to be as comfortable as possible without exhalation valves.
B2 Mask was designed to have comfortable air flow coming in as well as going out of the filters, so heat and moisture can escape. However, as with any mask, prolonged use, wearing in extreme hot/cold climates, or wearing during strenuous activities will generate moisture and heat inside of the mask.

The B2 Mask Liner was designed to absorb and contain moisture buildup inside the mask during extreme conditions. For more information, see the B2 Mask Liner page on our webstore.

The B2 Mask sits mostly off of the face, except around the seal, which improves comfort during prolonged sweating compared to fabric masks.
